What we like best was it was walkable to the railyard district. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close enough to the downtown area but we did not walk to it.

Cassita was comfortable although old. There was a maintenance issue with the smoke detector in the bedroom which went off for no reason the first night after we were in bed. Had to climb up and remove it and its battery to get it to stop. I messaged Charles, but he did not respond.

The casita was comfortable, very well-equipped, attractively furnished, and well-located. The biggest drawback for me was the pot smoker in the adjoining garage. The unpleasant, skunk-like smell permeated my space several times a day starting as early as 7:00 a.m. Also, anyone considering renting this casita for more than a few days should understand that the refrigerator is very small and limiting. Otherwise, I enjoyed my month’s stay in Casita Gomez.
